Upcoming interview 3/12/17 Leslie Kean, Surviving Death: A Journalist Investigates Evidence for an Afterlife

“There is something in every one of you that waits and listens for the sound of the genuine in yourself. It is the only true guide you will ever have. And if you cannot hear it, you will all of your life spend your days on the ends of strings that somebody else pulls.”
- Howard Thurman/Boston University, Howard Thurman/PBS

Blog Part One preview for upcoming Wendy's Coffeehouse 3/12/17 interview - Leslie Kean, Surviving Death: Podcast Archives updated after the show airs on KCMO Talk Radio at 8pm central. Headlines from the show are in the next post: Link

[Prior to our interview, she uploaded a great link. From Leslie's Archives - the 2014 video presentation for an incredible physical medium - Stewart Alexander - chapters 25 and 26. Fantastic view of Spirit Communication.]

Reality is so much more than it seems. One way to gain a broader view, aside from having your own STE/Spiritually Transformative Experience/ACISTE.org (been there and affirming), is to research NDE and UFO case studies. NDERF and Experiencer are two resources for that.

Some of the most mind-expanding, reality-shifting and inspiring content is archived on such sites. Given the after-effects of the experiences can result in challenges in trying to return to the mundane of day-to-day living, it helps to compare notes and look for connecting threads.

Examples of common challenges: ACISTE.org PMH Atwater addresses this topic as well. IANDS.org

Getting that experiencer content to a wider mainstream audience requires tenacity, determination and a dedication to the material. This stuff is real to those of us who have undergone a life-shift as a result and often the simple act of sharing and telling the story helps initiate/facilitate/complete the integration process.

Many experiencers have nothing to prove, they are simply sharing their new awareness of a greater reality they now accept as valid and want to assist others who - through no intentional or conscious act - have also discovered a similar crack in the wall of all/knowing.

In that regard, Journalist Leslie Kean did a fantastic job on her book UFOs: Generals, Pilots and Government Officials Go On the Record: GoodReads and our Interview/Empower Radio.

Backstory video on Leslie Kean from that project and a few resulting accolades.

With her current focus on Life after Death, Leslie is exploring another dicey topic often deemed unworthy of serious consideration due to: fill-in-the-blank assertion. We'll talk more tonight about Surviving Death: A Journalist Investigates Evidence for an Afterlife. SurvivingDeathKean

*We spoke earlier this week 3/8/17 for my show, Conscious Living on Empower Radio

Not only does Leslie address many related issues, including Reincarnation and Mediumship, in order to present a more thorough journalistic presentation, she includes feedback on how her personal experiences while investigating the topic also impacted her life and, in many ways, shifted her perspective.

Leslie experienced after-death communication with recently deceased significant others that proved to be quite compelling.

For many, some of the areas, such as Trans-Mediumship and Interactive Apparitions, may be foreign but those who have studied Spiritualism and explored Fortean topics will find the inclusion and current re-examination reaffirming.

Information Leslie is reporting on deserves more awareness and expanded methods of inquiry. Lacking the unique scientific apparatus required to quantify or measure an effect does not mean there is nothing to measure. It simply suggests we have more work to do to improve our tools designed to quantify data reported by those who witness and encounter these types of manifestations.

As mentioned in my prior interviews with Leslie and PMH, here's the background on Soviet Dissident George Rodonaia. The details of his NDE experience are extensive and documented. PMH Atwater covers him in her content. Her statement.

George in his own words - YouTube -

In a second YouTube interview George explains some of the after-effects of his NDE. Ex: Learning became much easier. Fascinating background. He talks about his 9 month recovery from the NDE and the work he was doing, his research with Oxytocin.

Some of his comments are politically timely. PMH Atwater referred to George when we spoke last week, that part where she described the autopsy complications and why he couldn't speak to stop the scalpel incisions: Wendy's Coffeehouse Archives/PMH Atwater.

Prior to his NDE George considered himself an Atheist. After the NDE he said, "Many people have asked me what I believe in, how my NDE changed my life. All I can say is that I now believe in the God of the universe." Source.

Aside from an NDE or STE, one can benefit from intentional study to activate enhanced awareness and increase the potential for extraordinary mind-body after-effects. Meditation is the primary recommendation, however, there are increasingly more effective exercises and techniques _no drugs_ to enhance your awareness and expanded mind-body-presence.

New book on the reading list to help with that: Stealing Fire includes the most current methods of mind hacks to become better creators, inventors, consciousness explorers and mind engineers.
"They’re harnessing rare and controversial states of consciousness to solve critical challenges and outperform the competition."

From various website comments, this book is a go-to for "deconstructing" the flow state. Learn and grow.

There is still a great deal to uncover in our "reality".

"The longest journey is the journey inwards of him who has chosen his destiny, who has started upon his quest for the source of his being." - Dag Hammarskjold
