Before Covid-19 hijacked the headlines it was Area 51, UFOs, Deep Prasad with George Knapp, Mercury Retrograde, Year of the Rat, and so on ....

Reflecting a bit -- this post was typical. Since then, the world has changed in a profound way. Somehow, just a few weeks ago, things seemed a lot more innocent and carefree. Then again, my pocket of the universe has always deviated from high drama ... until recently, when it became unavoidable. 

There is one constant - evidenced in these stories and those I continue to reference - a reminder that no matter what crisis steals center stage - the behind the scenes weirdness - is still going on in the wings.

In hindsight, note the Year of the Rat travel forecast. That happy pup at Starbucks drive up window ... not happening now. And talking about school ... many began shutting down in mid March.

Even the T. McKenna quote seems a bit prescient.

Relocated to Air studio - phone worked just fine for show vacating said studio. Phone dead and said to have been temperamental that week. Corroborating witnesses comment to me: "Mercury Retrograde, right Wendy?" So it would seem. And highly inconvenient. ;)
