Psychic Medium Bill Philips hopes to empower people with his message: You can connect with loved ones on the other side.

Signs From the Other Side. Publisher New World Library.

Bill agreed to write a guest blog post and I am looking forward to sharing that.

No, he doesn't actually see dead people. His first book is Expect the Unexpected.  He shares a lot of his story in that book and on this post at New World Library.

While Bill's backstory is covered in the first book, he includes the overview for anyone just now finding his information. Signs from the Other Side includes personal accounts from those who believe their loved one connected through various means. Examples include songs, animals, license plates, rainbows and electrical anomalies (stereos changing volume and turning off and on.

There is no limit to the manner that spirit can choose to connect if one is open to the idea and alert to synchronicity. (And that story about the haunted Jukebox is a great example of a spirit attachment.)

*The Amazon review I mentioned during the show includes a testimonial for a reading with Bill.

*Show intro. I mentioned my success with CBD (topical cream). As others experience similar positive results, expect more investment and marketing of CBD products.

Does it work? It didn't (for me) when I tried it on long term repetitive motion issue. However, it worked incredibly well when I used it for muscle strain/pain. And when I later discovered Laura Freeman talking about using it to help recover from extensive riding injuries, I started researching more about CBD.

I remember debating Legalization of Marijuana and Comprehensive Penal Reform in 1977. Incredible how long it took for the politics to shift. The boom is coming.

From Laura's Mercantile Blog. How does CBD Oil work in the Brain and on the Body? Author is Dr. Nisha Cooch PhD, PMP. Her PhD is in Neuroscience.

In hearing about the new study, I believe this is a wonderful step in a positive direction and gives Energy Workers the necessary scientific validation to credit their results, facilitating wider application and greater access to healing practices that produce life-enhancing results.

"The Practical Path announces a ground-breaking study on Medical Intuition at the University of California San Diego (UCSD) School of Medicine. -- My MIB encounter was in a dream. Nighttime. Me, standing out in the middle of a field watching a group of male friends a short distance away. I looked at the stars. A black car drove up through the field. Three men stepped out and walked up to me, all three wearing the classic black suit. Don't remember much about their faces and the conversation may have been telepathic. It seemed serious. I was told I needed to start doing what I agreed to do when I came here and somehow I knew exactly what they meant. Life changes ensued in short order. True story. - wendy

Float Therapy - a refreshing "time out"

"Presumably there are energies, to which each human is sensitive, that we cannot yet detect by means of our instruments. Built into our brains and our bodies are very sensitive tuneable receivers for energies that we do not yet know about in our science but that each one of us can detect under the proper circumstances and the proper state of mind. We can tune our nervous systems and bodies to receive these energies. We can also tune our brains and bodies to transmit these energies." - John C. Lilly

Meditation has been hijacking the headlines as the top go-to for stress relief and I agree that meditation is helpful for unwinding the mind. However, in addition to quieting the mind, if there are pain issues such as muscle fatigue or sports injuries, you might consider another option: Float Therapy.

Isolation Therapy (REST, Restricted Environmental Stimulation Therapy) is experiencing a resurgence in popularity. With improved technology and upgraded equipment, the current providers are offering even more in terms of environmental aesthetics.

What a nice surprise to find a local venue! Here's my interview with Blake Swetnam of Floating KC.

First things first - if you are into this activity - you are called a Waver not a Floater. Smile. However, I broke that code in my first post just for grins. Yes, I am that easily entertained. As such, how fun to find this Float Intro on the Floating KC blog.

Entertaining for novices and experienced Wavers, this is an excellent (humorous) intro of what to expect from your first float.Tag along with Rhett and Link

Video is their introduction -- review and backstory on the adventure is after the video.

Curious? Try it.

Then compare your notes with Rhett and Link. Here's their assessment and review of the actual experience.

They do address the potential fear of claustrophobia but that element is a non-issue
with Floating KC because the set up is a room rather than a tank (Zero Gravity Float Room).
