We talk about how Ron ended up in Peru. Carlos Castaneda's influence played a part. But it might have been the heart-centered sense of connection with the Amazon that factored even more.

The Castaneda influence - no matter what controversy might exist around Castaneda - also resonates for me. I had a [paranormal] wake-up call in connection with his material.

Ayahuasca is said to be (studies underway) effective in helping PTSD patients. Ron talks about being a contributor to that research as well. The hope is that science will validate the use of Ayahuasca in treating PTSD (and possibly depression and anxiety). QZ
