Interview with John Alexander, so much material to explore we could barely scratch the surface. No problem. Cue Jeffrey Mishlove, who offers several interviews with John, covering a broad range of topics, including Remote Viewing and his books.

John Alexander is no stranger to the exotic, unusual and unexplained. A life-long explorer and experiencer of extraordinary consciousness research, metaphysics, energy medicine, paranormal and unexplained. His diverse background includes 32 years in the military (background), where he had access to and expertise in information that would otherwise be off limits to the general population.

Notable experiences include Silva Mind Control, Akido, researching interspecies communication and teaching psychokinesis. A world traveler, he has met healers and shamans in Peru, Tibet, Nepal (and elsewhere) and studied with Curanderos in South America. That is a very abbreviated list. More info on his website. Bio.

"Dr. Alexander 'calls it as he sees it' and has little use for conspiracy theorists, true believers who take in everything without questioning, or scoffers who refuse to accept facts no matter how persuasive. For nine years he served as a councilor for the Society for Scientific Exploration is a past president of the International Association for Near Death Studies, and a founding board member of the International Remote Viewer's Association."

The SSE and IRVA are holding a joint conference in June. If you have even the slightest interest in the subject matter, presenters and attendees offer excellent resources and material for further study. Information.

Suggested reading - 3 by John Alexander
1/UFOs: Myths Conspiracies, and Realities - Alexander succeeds in separating solid facts and credible witnesses from the myths and conspiracy theorists. Determining that UFOs, while real, are beyond current comprehension, he sees the extraterrestrial hypothesis as too narrow. UFOs remain an enigma, he concludes, since every time we think we have an answer, new observations make the problem more complex.
2/Reality Denied - UFO, Bigfoot, Healing, NDE, OBE, Voodoo, Poltergeists, Mediums, Ayahuasca, Fire walking, Dowsing, Spoon-bending, Shamanic Rituals. Alexander leaves no stone unturned.
3/The Warrior's Edge - Partial Amazon Review: Fascinating. By - a customer on September 5, 1999. This book was the first to reveal some experimental work in the field of "Enhancing Human Performance" carried out by the US military and intelligence community. A significant core of the book, for me, was the previously classified material on "The Jedi Project", which utilized NLP and similar advanced learning technologies to train soldiers in pistol shooting, with dramatic results.

Modern Mystic Paddy Fievet, Meditation, Floating and Altered Minds

“The internal dialogue is what grounds people in the daily world. The world is such and such or so and so, only because we talk to ourselves about its being such and such and so and so. The passageway into the world of shamans opens up after the warrior has learned to shut off his internal dialogue.” - Carlos Castaneda, The Wheel of Time: The Shamans of Mexico Their Thoughts About Life Death and the Universe

Wendy's Coffeehouse Interview 2/18/18 with Paddy Fievet.

Embrace your inner Mystic. Warning. Be careful what you wish for and extra careful what you pray for. Here's the prayer that turned Paddy's life upside down: "Whatever is standing in the way of me living a spiritual life please fall from me."

No doubt saying it during an intense thunderstorm added extra oomph. In retrospect, Paddy suggests adding "with light, love and ease" to that now road-tested request.

The chaos that ensued encompassed reprioritization and gutting of things that no longer worked with the life journey she mapped out. She says much of that story is related in a previous book, When Life Cried Out.

In the most recent book, The Eagle's View, Paddy charts five steps to modern Mysticism. In sync with the Valentine theme, Love is one of the five steps. Summing up, it's personal, a choice to remain trapped in fear or take the bold steps required to reconnect and unleash that wonderful spark of divinity that lies within.

Paddy is working on another book to share some of the profound experiences she has had since reorienting her life. Out now, The Eagle's View, Five Steps to Modern Mysticism. More info: Link. She writes about the Lighthouse: Edge Magazine

Fantastic Physics, UFOs, Miracles, Consciousness, Shamanism and Sacred Vision Oracle Cards

Engaging awareness through Shamanism -

Lynn Andrews and Robert Taylor are co-creators of the Sacred Oracle Cards, available on Amazon and on Lynn's site.

Lynn and Robert join me for two interviews. I am so glad to have been able to talk with both of them for Wendy's Coffeehouse 12/17/17 and Conscious Living 12/13/17. You'll hear something different in each show as we have plenty of material to work with. My notes in this post include references and links related to both shows.

Lynn Andrews, known to many for her Medicine Woman series, now in the 46th printing, has some 20 books. In four decades of work, Lynn has traveled the world and trained alongside a diverse group of medicine women, as such, developing a treasured archive of shamanic wisdom.

The Los Angeles Times: “Andrews’ narrative opens a window onto an aspect of Native American culture seldom explored. Her portrayal of the pre-eminently sacred role of woman and the traditions that keep their ancient wisdom are remarkably accurate.”

In Lynn's own words, “To me, shamanism is about light, and when I say light, I mean making the world a better place. It is an understanding that there really is a power in prayer, truly.

And no matter who it is that you pray to, if you pray with your heart, you can change your own life, choose what happens in your life and how it turns out. I think we have the power to do that."

Sacred Vision Oracle Cards are
also interactive. Read here.
The cards I pulled for the day were perfectly in sync with the content. One of the themes is Observation. Try a sample 3 card read.
The cards I chose are featured in the photo.

So much ground to cover, we hit a few highlights. Lynn speaks about the purpose of the new cards and her collaboration with Native Artist Robert Taylor.

She also emphasizes the importance to her in working with women on self-worth and spending quality  time with the group that is close to her heart: Sisterhood of the Shields.

Robert's artwork deftly interweaves the shamanic element into this deck through color, symbol and metaphor. Each design is capable of triggering knowing beyond the image. I really enjoyed hearing his perspective.

In the companion book, Lynn provides the interpretations for the meaning of the card and Robert addresses the nature of the visual he created. Images and energy merge to combine the two talents in a wonderful fashion. This is not a contemplative deck, rather, it is a catalyst for change and active engagement, an energizer to get the ball rolling on whatever issue is ready to be examined.

Robert Taylor's work is currently on exhibit at the University of Oklahoma's Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art through December 30, with 60 pieces on display. OU. He was recently profiled in the Oklahoma Gazette. Including more background on Robert's unique painting style, from 1997, read this feature in Southwest ArtFollow Robert on Facebook

When I repeated what I read in regard to the teacher who asked Robert why he insisted on painting Indians, he said the language in that conversation was quite blunt. The teacher asked why he chose to paint "savages". Robert left the class and took another path to acquire his skills.

There are many ways to respond to a hurt, a slight, a slur or an insult and then there is your way, the one that sets you on your journey. As Lynn says, these cards are intended to help quicken the connection to the work at hand.

I appreciate the stark contrast presented in the characters on the cards to the purposeful use of color, enlivening the animal messengers and symbolism. There are hidden meanings and code in the image creations, combined with Lynn's words, the cards inspire introspection, spontaneous knowing and deeper connection communicated within the image.

In working with the imagery, I have already had a very powerful vision. One of the characters in the cards made an appearance in the dreamtime as I was drifting back to sleep. Funny thing, I forgot it until triggered later in the day by the sight of geese flying overhead.

The vision colors and imagery involved vivid jewel tones and a pose very much like that Buffalo and Prairie Dog. I have been visited by a new teacher. The door is open and the adventure is calling. Am I ready to explore? What is life if not an adventure for explorers? The cards work.

"Remember the world is shaped by the dreamers NOT the critics." - Robert Taylor
