Humility is key in awakening to higher dimensions - and PKD

“Philip K. Dick was more than a visionary: he’s the man who remembered the future.”  James Rogers

One who aspires to greater awareness learns to respect the unknown to gain access to levels previously hidden from view – that revelation calls reality into question.

Moon shot

There we were – managing to locate the comet framed by twin stars, high in the west sky. (Andy could actually see it – the only person who could.) However, neither Andy’s camera nor my phone camera could sight the darn thing.

We lucked out. The guy who showed up next to us got some great shots with his comet tracker app and his 500 zoom lens (with the same camera Andy has: 350 Zoom lens. Bummer). Bonus: The guy told us about the ghost at the place he works.

We turned to leave and saw the moon rising in the east. I got that instead.

Expanding the comfort zone – Introductions to others among us

“If there are other worlds parallel to ours, are all the doors closed? Or does one, here or there, stand ajar?” – Louis L’Amour, The Haunted Mesa.

Bradshaw Ranch in Sedona, Arizona is like Skinwalker Ranch in Utah – a very active site with multiple accounts of high strangeness events. The documentary I’ve linked includes testimony from paranormal researcher Tom Dongo (I’ve interviewed Tom. Link).

This isn’t a rehashing of previous History Channel presentations. Footage includes a trek to view sasquatch footprints, interactive orbs, portals, and tech that reveals the image of an [invisible to human eyesight] entity that can appear to have a form similar to humans. Link.

Which reality to choose?

I am following Nick Cook’s progress on his new book, now on Chapter 16. Subscribers [paid] get access to full chapters, commentary, and the occasional group zoom meeting with the author.

He regained my full attention with his post on VALIS, a reference to Philip K. Dick. Naturally, that required a tangential deep dive into current youtube offerings. Happily, I’ve discovered several more interviews and bios have been added since my last foray.

Examples:
Number onePhilip K. Dick: Philosophical Pulp Poet – “a writer who rode the Multiverse and saw different realties—and sometimes lived them.”

Number twoThe 9 prophetic visions of Philip K. Dick – “a visionary prophet for the age we’re all now living in.”

Number three: If You Find This World Bad, You Should See Some of the Others (The “Metz Speech”). [In his description, I see parallels with Plato’s Cave.]

Number four: Jeffrey Mishlove and James Tunney. [Includes reference to Plato’s Cave]: Philip K. Dick, Aliens, and the Afterlife, PKD “developed a friendship with the late Bishop James Pike, who wrote extensively about mediumistic communications with his deceased son.” After the death of Bishop Pike, PKD thought he was communicating with him.

In September 1967, Pike participated in a televised séance with his dead son through the medium Arthur Ford, who served at the time as a Disciples of Christ minister. Pike described these experiences in detail in the book.

Guest Blog - Healing through Past Life Memories, Meet Your Karma: Shelley A. Kaehr, Ph.D.

Just as a camera can catch a moment in time on film, or a video captures movement and action, so is it with the Akasha … we leave traces in time and space, in the aethers. Consciously or not, when perceiving past lives we are looking back into time, and finding the records on the Akasha. Time. And Space.” - Stephen Poplin, M.A., CHT. Inner Journeys, Cosmic Sojourns: Life transforming stories, adventures and messages from a spiritual hypnotherapist's casebook, Goodreads

Meet Your Karma: The Healing Power of Past Life Memories
By Shelley A. Kaehr, Ph.D.

My latest book Meet Your Karma: The Healing Power of Past Life Memories features case histories of people who discovered their current life struggles with depression, trauma and anxiety were actually tied to past lives. Over the course of the past twenty years, I’ve seen repeatedly that while we might have endured hardships in our current incarnations, when we have trouble moving past certain conditions and emotions, a past life is often the root cause.

Recently, a client came to see me to help with her desire to stop smoking. I consider smoking a very challenging situation because many people want to quit for the wrong reasons – for others, rather than themselves. When someone makes the decision to stop for themselves, however, hypnosis really works.

My client gave me a heartfelt explanation of her sincere desire to stop but mentioned that something kept stopping her. During her regression, I asked her to return to the real source event of where her love of smoking began and to our surprise, she zipped back to a very early life in prehistoric times.

She saw herself near the smoke of her fire, enjoying the smell. “What does that fire represent to you?” I asked. “Safety. Life,” she said, without hesitation.

Further discussion revealed that on a soul level, this woman truly perceived fire to be equivalent to life because in ancient times, the fire meant many things – you kept warm, you warded off predators, you could cook your food which was a real luxury. No wonder she couldn’t stop smoking!

After her talking through this revelation with her angelic guide and coming to a soul understanding that she no longer needed to hang on to the old belief that fire equals life, she released that stuck energy and moved forward. After the session, she said she felt much better.

Since this happened quite recently, I will be more than excited to hear from her again down the road to see how this helped, which I hope it did. Her story is so similar to the case histories in Meet Your Karma. All of them showcase people who went into former lives where fear was at the core of the decision making.

In modern society, we’ve all learned to fear a variety of things – fear of rejection, social isolation and the like, but in reality, those kinds of situations, while painful, are not actually going to kill us and end our existence. The majority of the cases where people struggled with anxiety, depression and trauma involved serious life and death situations that needed to be cleared so the client could feel safe in the now. By so doing, healing and relief happened.

Using my RELIEF Method for anxiety, clients are able to release the ties to the past, change the frequency of unwanted situations and lighten and brighten previously challenging events so they can move forward without fear, but with empowerment to live happier and more peaceful lives.

Meet Your Karma includes the RELIEF Method processes readers can try for themselves and hopefully release unwanted influences from the past to create a brighter future.

Shelley A. Kaehr, Ph.D. is known throughout the world as one of the leading authorities on energy healing and mind-body medicine. Her work has been endorsed by Dr. Brian Weiss, who called her regression method, “An important contribution to the field of regression therapy.”

Shelley believes memories are stored holographically within the energy fields in and around the body so by combining hypnosis and energy work, lasting change is achieved. She developed the new Edgar Cayce’s Egyptian Energy Healing (ECEEH) method and several other energy healing techniques during her twenty years in the field.

Sandy Newbigging was my guest this week. Known for his books on Calming, with this new book, that calming technique is harnessed to remove blocks and core beliefs that impede current progress.

Name a chronic issue you have struggled with. Anxiety, Eating disorder, Self worth, etc. Take steps now to resolve and clear it. Sandy Newbigging introduces his method in Mind Detox, his 12th book.

How simple can it be? 5 simple steps. Sandy Bio.

Beliefs are key influencers. Chapters begin with - the stopper: "I cannot ___." The statement is then examined to determine what might have seeded that belief.

A very clear illustration is presented with Sandy's Dad - who spent decades believing his biological father didn't love him. Told to 'look everywhere' - by his stepfather on his deathbed - the search turned up a cache of letters, pictures and writings that showed how very much he was loved by his biological father. A huge revelation and complete rewrite of the relationship. (And all of the emotions wrapped up in that misperception.)

Mind Detox addresses the various 'cannots' in established thinking and
beliefs that set and reinforce the symptoms/issue,

then digs to the root to address the real source, the cause.

Included with Sandy's examples are those from clients who achieved success recovering from various core health ailments. Some were seeded from childhood.

My favorite experience in speaking with Sandy is when he introduced the GAAWO Technique (Chapter 5, The Safe Place and Chapter 10, The Freedom Formula) is a wonderful tool: Gently Alert, Attention Wide Open. As he demonstrated it during our interview, I felt an immediate shift. Centered in seconds. Under the circumstances (being distracted by show prep), I didn't expect a result or that it would be so fast.

(Note: Sandy suggests his program can enhance EFT/Tapping.)

Check the website and discover more support for calming, buy the book. We don't have time to cover all the information in the interview.

Even if you don't have a core issue to resolve and your goal is to simply reframe your own beliefs to those that are more productive and empowering, this practice will provide a solid platform from which to build your next life-path success.

From Yoga Magazine: “Mind Detox includes a simple yet highly effective approach, so that peace, health and happiness are attainable states for us all.”

Wendy's Coffeehouse Interview 2/18/18 with Paddy Fievet.

Embrace your inner Mystic. Warning. Be careful what you wish for and extra careful what you pray for. Here's the prayer that turned Paddy's life upside down: "Whatever is standing in the way of me living a spiritual life please fall from me."

No doubt saying it during an intense thunderstorm added extra oomph. In retrospect, Paddy suggests adding "with light, love and ease" to that now road-tested request.

The chaos that ensued encompassed reprioritization and gutting of things that no longer worked with the life journey she mapped out. She says much of that story is related in a previous book, When Life Cried Out.

In the most recent book, The Eagle's View, Paddy charts five steps to modern Mysticism. In sync with the Valentine theme, Love is one of the five steps. Summing up, it's personal, a choice to remain trapped in fear or take the bold steps required to reconnect and unleash that wonderful spark of divinity that lies within.

Paddy is working on another book to share some of the profound experiences she has had since reorienting her life. Out now, The Eagle's View, Five Steps to Modern Mysticism. More info: Link. She writes about the Lighthouse: Edge Magazine
