Meet Your Karma: The Healing Power of Past Life Memories

My latest book Meet Your Karma: The Healing Power of Past Life Memories features case histories of people who discovered their current life struggles with depression, trauma and anxiety were actually tied to past lives. Over the course of the past twenty years, I’ve seen repeatedly that while we might have endured hardships in our current incarnations, when we have trouble moving past certain conditions and emotions, a past life is often the root cause.

Recently a client came to see me to help with her desire to stop smoking. I consider smoking a very challenging situation because many people want to quit for the wrong reasons -- for others, rather than themselves. When someone makes the decision to stop for themselves, however, hypnosis really works.

My client gave me a heartfelt explanation of her sincere desire to stop but mentioned that something kept stopping her. During her regression, I asked her to return to the real source event of where her love of smoking began and to our surprise, she zipped back to a very early life in prehistoric times. She saw herself near the smoke of her fire, enjoying the smell.

“What does that fire represent to you?” I asked.

“Safety. Life,” she said, without hesitation.

Further discussion revealed that on a soul level, this woman truly perceived fire to be equivalent to life because in ancient times, the fire meant many things – you kept warm, you warded off predators, you could cook your food which was a real luxury. No wonder she couldn’t stop smoking!

After her talking through this revelation with her angelic guide and coming to a soul understanding that she no longer needed to hang on to the old belief that fire equals life, she released that stuck energy and moved forward. After the session, she said she felt much better. Since this happened quite recently, I will be more than excited to hear from her again down the road to see how this helped, which I hope it did.

Her story is so similar to the case histories in Meet Your Karma. All of them showcase people who went into former lives where fear was at the core of the decision making. In modern society, we’ve all learned to fear a variety of things – fear of rejection, social isolation and the like, but in reality, those kinds of situations, while painful, are not actually going to kill us and end our existence. The majority of the cases where people struggled with anxiety, depression and trauma involved serious life and death situations that needed to be cleared so the client could feel safe in the now. By so doing, healing and relief happened.

Using my RELIEF Method for anxiety, clients are able to release the ties to the past, change the frequency of unwanted situations and lighten and brighten previously challenging events so they can move forward without fear, but with empowerment to live happier and more peaceful lives. Beyond our physical realm, exists a code of ethics (unique to each and every one) and a soul contract in play. At any time an unseen force can step up with a reminder of that code if it appears we are tempted to deviate.

Eye to eye, I stood across from my attacker, ready to push him over the rail to the concrete pavement, 3 stories below. In an incredible (not mine) burst of strength, I had just escaped. Not only had I thrown him off of me but he landed across the room and out of my path.

Still energized from that massive adrenaline rush, I knew I had the advantage and I could prevent him from harming others. He would have to pass by me to get to the stairway. I felt that strength and braced myself. But - in the moment I was ready to strike - I heard someone yell a word in my right ear. I paused, astounded at what I heard.

Changing tactic, I started screaming as loud as I could and (Reluctantly, because it made no sense.) I let him pass. He maintained eye contact while stepping up his pace to the stairway, threat gone from his demeanor. Help arrived and he had vanished. Life went on.

Perplexed about what had happened, it took awhile for me to comprehend the lesson. With the strength I had been given, I could have stopped him, definitely slowed him after the fall to the concrete surface from a third floor balcony. But I was purposefully directed to let him walk away.

Eventually, it made more sense. I understood that energy burst I had been given was meant for self-defense, allowing me to free myself. Any action I took from that point on would make me the adversary, the attacker.

I had not been harmed and I had done no harm. I had been given a new piece of my puzzle.

Through that encounter I learned Karma is real and other factors are involved, none of which are commonly taught. Unless you consider the directive: "Turn the other cheek."

Translation: Walk away. It isn't your fight.

PSI, Telepathy and Remote Viewing with Ingo Swann. He settled for Psychic but said he preferred Perception Researcher. 20 minutes into the archived conversation with Art Bell, discussing PK and Telepathy, Ingo addresses research on developing and improving PSI abilities.

He notes that when subjects were ordered to try to "burst a blood vessel in someone's head" it didn't work because something else seemed to interfere. (If that implies a failsafe mechanism of some sort is part of the equation, and I do suspect that is quite possible, that is comforting.)

My version was downloaded a few years ago when it was still available on the web. From the overview on Amazon and, having read the new book, these are three areas I found compelling:

1. UFO Encounter. "Ingo tells a story of meetings held in a secret underground facility not far from Washington DC, and of being taken to a remote location near the Arctic Circle to witness the expected arrival of a huge UFO over the surface of an Alaskan lake." [His description of that UFO is similar to others who say UFOs sometimes seem to emerge out of the space. John Foster, Eminent Discovery, describes a sort of fog or distortion that accompanies the UFO appearance.]

2. Unexplained. Ingo says far more is known than admitted regarding the Moon: origins, atmosphere and occupants. He questions the lack of hi-def photography and avoiding certain areas known to have odd features.

3. Bonus: [Newly discovered missing chapter on his psychic probes of Mars ("9") to Penetration. Ingo asserts that there is a bigger question at play – the question as to “why do mass-consciousness humans, as it were, mass-consciously almost 'conspire' to avoid certain issues, and consistently so?”]

In this show/podcast, I talked about some of my encounters with The *Stanley Hotel Ghosts, verbal warnings from Guardian Angels and I mentioned some of the Orb photos I have taken. Note: I have an interview scheduled with Tim Scullion on his Ghost Photography. 

In this first image, I knew the person, having connected with him on his daily walks. I met his daughter and discovered some of the family history after he died.


In passing, we talked about her Mom and the possibility of an estate sale. I knew someone who could help. Her dad was friendly and walked the neighborhood trailing an oxygen tank and companion collie. I would miss his comforting presence.

I was working at the desk when one of the lights on the lamp went out. The doorbell rang and I was greeted by his daughter who handed me two smiley face cups.

 I took a picture of the lamp after she left. The bulb came back on. Only later, in reviewing the photos, did I notice the orb on the stand, half way up - at the same level as the books in the background.

The second image was another happy accident. I have no idea why I took the photo. Possibly a redecorating fantasy. On the couch is a recently acquired garage sale pillow. Beside the pillow is an orb.

I have curtailed my garage sale, estate sale and open house tours. Several encounters taught me to respect boundaries and attachments.

Recently deceased occupants are often lingering and determining who gets what. Sometimes they venture out to survey the new arrangement.

I have had at least one instance of being given a certain item I had no intention of purchasing and was not in the bag when I walked out - having somehow found away to my house.

It was a DVD and a very sweet story - just one I intentionally set aside in favor of those I was familiar with.  

Here's another photo anomaly. First year in the house and I wanted a picture of the Christmas tree. Bonus: Christmas Ghost.

One person said it was the camera strap. Another suggested my hand was the source and another said it was 'fog'. If it is any one or none of those things, it was the only image with 'fog' in that group. Apparently the 'Ghost' held her breath for the rest of the photo shoot. (No camera strap that I remember.)

There are others but the most unusual image is one I didn't take. I'll save that one for a later post.
