Beyond our physical realm, exists a code of ethics (unique to each and every one) and a soul contract in play. At any time an unseen force can step up with a reminder of that code if it appears we are tempted to deviate.
Eye to eye, I stood across from my attacker, ready to push him over the rail to the concrete pavement, 3 stories below. In an incredible (not mine) burst of strength, I had just escaped. Not only had I thrown him off of me but he landed across the room and out of my path.
Still energized from that massive adrenaline rush, I knew I had the advantage and I could prevent him from harming others. He would have to pass by me to get to the stairway. I felt that strength and braced myself. But - in the moment I was ready to strike - I heard someone yell a word in my right ear. I paused, astounded at what I heard.
Changing tactic, I started screaming as loud as I could and (Reluctantly, because it made no sense.) I let him pass. He maintained eye contact while stepping up his pace to the stairway, threat gone from his demeanor. Help arrived and he had vanished. Life went on.
Perplexed about what had happened, it took awhile for me to comprehend the lesson. With the strength I had been given, I could have stopped him, definitely slowed him after the fall to the concrete surface from a third floor balcony. But I was purposefully directed to let him walk away.
Eventually, it made more sense. I understood that energy burst I had been given was meant for self-defense, allowing me to free myself. Any action I took from that point on would make me the adversary, the attacker.
I had not been harmed and I had done no harm. I had been given a new piece of my puzzle.
Through that encounter I learned Karma is real and other factors are involved, none of which are commonly taught. Unless you consider the directive: "Turn the other cheek."
Translation: Walk away. It isn't your fight.

PSI, Telepathy and Remote Viewing with Ingo Swann. He settled for Psychic but said he preferred Perception Researcher. 20 minutes into the archived conversation with Art Bell, discussing PK and Telepathy, Ingo addresses research on developing and improving PSI abilities.
He notes that when subjects were ordered to try to "burst a blood vessel in someone's head" it didn't work because something else seemed to interfere. (If that implies a failsafe mechanism of some sort is part of the equation, and I do suspect that is quite possible, that is comforting.)

My version was downloaded a few years ago when it was still available on the web. From the overview on Amazon and, having read the new book, these are three areas I found compelling:
1. UFO Encounter. "Ingo tells a story of meetings held in a secret underground facility not far from Washington DC, and of being taken to a remote location near the Arctic Circle to witness the expected arrival of a huge UFO over the surface of an Alaskan lake." [His description of that UFO is similar to others who say UFOs sometimes seem to emerge out of the space. John Foster, Eminent Discovery, describes a sort of fog or distortion that accompanies the UFO appearance.]
2. Unexplained. Ingo says far more is known than admitted regarding the Moon: origins, atmosphere and occupants. He questions the lack of hi-def photography and avoiding certain areas known to have odd features.
3. Bonus: [Newly discovered missing chapter on his psychic probes of Mars ("9") to Penetration. Ingo asserts that there is a bigger question at play – the question as to “why do mass-consciousness humans, as it were, mass-consciously almost 'conspire' to avoid certain issues, and consistently so?”]
The Estate of Ingo Swann [twitter] is reissuing several of Ingo's books and refreshing his website.
