Keith Linder, The Story continues - Attachments: Poltergeist of Washington State Part 2.

“I shall not commit the fashionable stupidity of regarding everything I cannot explain as a fraud. ” - Psychiatrist Dr. Carl Jung in a 1919 address to the Society for Psychical Research in England

Interview with Keith Linder: Attachments - living with Poltergeists.

Interviewing Keith Linder a second time, (Previous Interview) we recap the initial story of his harrowing poltergeist experience while living in The Bothell (Hell) House and then continue with an introduction of Book 2. Attachments:Poltergeist of Washington State Part 2. The activity didn't end when Keith relocated. It followed him.

Having weathered the initial slings and arrows of skeptics when a popular US ghost hunter failed to encounter any activity during a brief stop over, Keith persisted in contacting researchers who might be able to corroborate his claims. He succeeded. Two subsequent investigations produced sufficient results indicating an active poltergeist presence.

Researchers who invested more than a few hours on site at the Bothell House vindicated Keith.
Here is one of the substantiating documents (*link) attesting to the status of the residence as having paranormal activity.

When it comes to EVPs, this case has some fascinating evidence. Link: Presentation with Bothell House EVPs. Parapsychologist Steve Mera says they only heard the phrases after they replayed the audio. Read the full report. Link.

4 years in the Bothell House took a personal toll. Keith's relationship tanked. However, what he discovered about former residents suggests others who endured similar activity were even less fortunate. Those details are for the reader to uncover.

Critics of haunting cases often cite lack of corroborating evidence: pictures, recordings, witnesses, duration of activity. It can remain dormant for visitors. Investigators do capture evidence in this case.

What book two gets into actually examines the poltergeist relationship to the experiencer. Interaction is a crucial element and NOT the fault of the person rather a flash-point trigger that opens a door and provides an energy source sufficient enough to produce a manifest outcome. More research is needed to determine the attraction factor.

---
I have two examples of emotional engagement:
Receptivity: One family is attached and have made every effort to accommodate their ghost. I was asked if it could relocate with them. Ghost interacts and touches in a soothing manner - they find it comforting and view it as protective. The entity presented a stable presence.

Curiosity: Another person, working as a handyman and staying overnight at a property rather than returning home, discovered the building was quite active. Unprepared for this type of encounter, items were moved. He was touched and heard his name. The touch was feminine and intimate. Not unpleasant. But - incredibly out of the ordinary and unsettling. Also flattering. His reality cracked.
---

Honestly, Keith is an excellent poltergeist witness. An IT guy, he has knowledge regarding best equipment to capture evidence and then follow up in documenting events he witnesses but can't explain. And when he hits a wall, he regroups and figures out what to adjust in order to counter the block and correct the applications. Most importantly, his expertise with the equipment gave him an advantage in knowing what should and should not happen in the event of electronic malfunctions.

Kicking Poltergeist tires is not an innocent pastime. As Keith discovered, they don't require sleep and, when provoked, have more octane to work with. Our rules are not their rules.

What do poltergeists do? They make you question your reality. Some of what Keith describes is also highly seductive and erotic, supplying an intentional temptation to let it ride.

Heartbeat sounds coming from the mattress? That's in the book. Book 3 is next.

Poltergeists are so far beyond the pale that many of the so-called paranormal experts are challenged when called upon to quantify or validate the occurrence. Unfamiliar territory. One cannot get answers by simply sticking a toe in the water. And they do know how to play … invisible …

Understanding the enigma requires immersion and a 24/7 time commitment. A better word choice might be 'confirming'. The word 'understanding' is a bit naïve. Every situation is unique.

Keith Linder soon discovered resources and experts were scarce. Many he turned to for help challenged his sincerity and his honesty. It was too extreme, too dramatic and over the top.

He was forced to do his own homework. In his corner, prior residents who corroborated the dark nature of the house. That life-line allows any who suggest this is just a cock and bull fairytale to find another patsy. The house has a nature unto itself. It can be quiet.

 Keith Linder - Amazon

But when it wants to play - the game puts the corporeal world on notice:
Do your own homework.
Don't threaten
Don't attack.
Don't pretend.
Don't lie.

It isn't the bite that hurts, it's the kickback - when you least expect.

What does Keith say he would not repeat? From the YouTube vid:

"It should be said here by me that the biggest mistake
I made was going out and buying more cameras.
Cameras, DVR's, wifi video cams, etc were erected throughout the house.

Cameras exemplify attention and cameras symbolize challenging it. You cannot or should not challenge a malevolent entity. Days, weeks and months after this event activity spiked."

Thanks to Keith for the valuable tips and the list of resources he refers for how-to and how-not-to deal with the most energetically intense and emotionally tweaking extreme of paranormal manifestations: a poltergeist.

Bottom line. One thing that didn't survive the roller coaster, the relationship. Maybe you have never encountered anything close to this situation but you may know or meet someone who has. If so, withhold judgment. Keith has done an excellent job of laying out the framework and retelling the tale in a way that the pitfalls and wrong turns are more apparent.

And he offers sound advice to anyone who would prefer to avoid that situation.

And then there was the UFO I saw last week. I was out looking at the sky (Blood Moon, Mars close encounter and Mercury retrograde topics had been filling my news feeds.) I saw a star pulsing with multiple colors. Stars don't do that.

So I grabbed my camera to get a better look. Even though it is not designed to take night pictures, I knew it would magnify the view. The pulsing colors did not appear through the viewfinder. It looked like a typical, bright white star. Then it threw off a red flash - coming toward me. Another flashed away from the star.

Star looked bright white through the lens.
I saw it pulse multiple colors with the naked eye.
The jig was up when it shot out red bursts.
 Holy Cow! A star?
And I think it wanted me to question that.

The flashes activated my camera. I got flashed five times. That gave me five photos.

None show what I saw - but the activity is unusual - and that red flash might have been a response to the light on my camera trying to activate the focus.

When it paused for a few minutes, I got a
telepathic suggestion to wait - because it had to recharge. I waited and then I got one last image.

So, I have two curiosities with that incident. I got 1/a telepathic prompt from 2/a star that shoots out flashes of red bursts. Cool!

Ours? Theirs? Military. Experimental. ET. Unexplained and fascinating. The reddish squiggle is whatever was moving in the vicinity of the white light. I could not see it with the naked eye.

Incidentally, the best view of the moon from our area was Saturday night. Large, beautiful and orange, against a deep indigo skyline with a thin ribbon of silver clouds skimming across the front. No pictures - just a memory. Perfect.

Yeah, I saw a UFO - and it returned for a couple of hours Sunday night. Visible at 9p and gone by 11:30p. It didn't take away from the spectacular image of the Moon.

I will keep looking up.

Thank you for listening!

Just like the original Blade Runner, this one might take a bit longer to find the audience. However, I really liked the film and thought it did an excellent job of carrying the story line forward with new elements that felt perfectly in sync. I do think the 3 short prequels filled in the gaps and are worth seeing along with the movie. Here's one: Blade Runner 2049

In my interview with Keith Linder, he talks about his ongoing experiences living with a Poltergeist and says when the activity first started he had no real belief in ghosts. After four years living in a very haunted house, moving and continuing to experience what has run the gamut of paranormal encounters, he has become educated on all sorts of ghost related issues.

Who or what were some of the most helpful resources in his case? Colin Wilson's book, The Occult was at the top of his list. The Occult/Amazon About Colin Wilson: The GuardianGoodReads

Given what I have experienced and been asked about in regard to dealing with ongoing paranormal events, I do recommend learning about Psychic Self Defense and the book that addresses that in an easily accessible manner is from someone who writes from experience - in the 1930's: Dion Fortune.
Psychic Self-Defense.

I interviewed Deborah King for Conscious Living [2/20/2009 itunes] and she described a negative psychic attack and what she did to counter it. Each event is different. Main site for Deborah King

Clearing Dark Forces - Deborah offers insight here.

My personal experiences include accidentally intruding upon a family meeting as the relatives were going through belongings at a soon-to-be-available home. The deceased was not pleased. I got slammed with a three hour headache. The learning curve.

Ghosts, Paranormal, Unexplained: building a case for Psychic Self-Defense

"We live in the midst of invisible forces whose effects alone we perceive. We move among invisible forms whose actions we very often do not perceive at all, although we may be profoundly affected by them." - Psychic Self-Defense,  Dion Fortune

OddsnEnds -

Please note, my upcoming interview with Keith Linder explores his ongoing experiences with a poltergeist. While the conversation might seem innocuous, some of the information might have a bit more weight than can be seen at the surface level.

From his interview about his experience, Living with a Poltergeist in Supernatural Magazine, "One night the TV kept coming on upstairs so much I finally unplugged it. Minutes later after we left it came on again. This time it was on but the cord was not plugged in the wall."

Keith has been documenting this experience from the onset of his stay in a haunted house. He has an ever expanding collection of videos compiled with the help of numerous paranormal investigators to assist in validating his account. Steve Mera and Don Philips in this short vid.

His YouTube channel is here. One of the videos that provides an overview is this video with two paranormal investigators: Demons in Seattle - Doll Video
Another video with Paranormal Investigators
And this video starts with a local news crew feature.
He's out of that house now but the story continues.

Unexplained.

Given the nature of this subject matter, I am posting a warning and a pre-emptive defense posture. I have no doubt that Keith's experience is authentic. Sharing his experience is a way to validate these encounters and to offer counter measures to address the very real (and sometimes uncomfortable) after effects of a negative psychic attack.

My interview with Keith is coming up on Sunday, October 15th, at 8pm on KCMO Talk Radio, Wendy's Coffeehouse. The intensity level of his encounter surpasses that of the one I experienced with the interview on the haunting of Asylum 49. Not for the faint of heart: The Haunting of Keith Linder.

Psychic Self-Defense - Jeffery Mishlove interviews Terrence Palmer on the topic of spirit entities and negative attachments. Terrence opens with an event he experienced in picking up an unwanted entity when he sat next to someone. Jeffery talks about his experience with Ted Owens and feeling sick after they had an argument. Ted called back to apologize and the illness stopped. Interview with Jeffery about PK Man Ted Owens is here.

Food for thought in this interview on mind power. Valuable insight on how important it is to be very aware of your thoughts and to understand we are also susceptible to the thoughts of others, seen and unseen.

The video also notes recommended books. If you do experience anything related to a negative haunting or spirit attachment, these resources are extremely useful:
