Totality buzz

What about those 4 minutes of eclipse totality is so special that people will plan for decades and travel the world to chase an encounter? More than words can say. Here is one attempt. “There is something about witnessing history with other people—a sort of existential affirmation that indeed, I am real and I am experiencing this event because all around me, other people are seeing or hearing or touching and tasting the same thing I am.” Continued: Scientific American.

Dreaming up

Dreamed I was listening to my podcasts. I heard a cow in the background, birds in another, and was delighted because it gave the recording a unique spin. Authentic. Nature.

The thing I am left with is how very reassuring and natural it felt during the dream to hear that cow mooing in the background. Just once. Providing a special meaning for me that I can’t explain. Made perfect sense in the dream.

Later in the day I find a synchronicity in my blog feed. A post on Faery cattle. Magical. Known for their knack for appearing in times of need. British Fairies Blog.

So many ways to interpret this. It makes me smile. That’s enough.

One more thing – Telepathy

I interviewed Jes Kerzen, Author of ‘A Mind Beyond Words’Amazon. Like nothing you’ve read or heard about autism.

She writes on Medium“I’m discovering all I can about autistic spectrum perception, about psychic abilities, about spirituality and about the processes involved in publishing and publicising my first book about all the above."

[The story she has to tell about her connection with Asher and how she learned to connect with him telepathically deserves to be amplified to a wider audience. His abilities and what he is exploring beyond our physical world is extraordinary. Please check out her book and her writing.]

The Horse, the eclipse, and Castaneda

“You say you need help. Help for what? You have everything needed for the extravagant journey that is your life.” – Carlos Castaneda, Journey to Ixtlan: The Lessons of Don Juan, Amazon

The Read

I had intended to show the incredible read I was given during the eclipse. Because my horse — in the vision — is key to responding to world events playing out now. And it is reflected in the 1st card in the read.

Horseman = Herald of Change – Shaman’s Dream Oracle.

And the final card in the read, the overview, is the absolute kicker! I was instructed to pull a middle card – instructed to cut the cards – shuffle and pull the middle card. Turns out that card is in complete sync with the message of the previous post.

Galactic Mushroom = The Divine Matrix – Shaman’s Dream Oracle, Amazon

As it turns out, I need to table that discussion, and instead offer a helpful resource to address timelines shifting outside and beyond our measures for counting.

There is a *mushroom sync — and it will make perfect sense.

The Recap

Spring is always busy but some of this material and the experiences that serve as catalysts is overwhelming to track. Much too complex to translate or convert into a linear description. I’ll go with what I am focused on in the moment and incorporate another seeker/storyteller who has (obviously) been offered as a resource at the (conveniently) perfect time.

What I am sharing is the result of a spiritually guided prompt that happened after the vision of the horse and a meditation during the eclipse.

The Guidance

Seemingly out of the blue, during meditation [after returning from the short getaway for eclipse excitement], a prompt. A telepathic suggestion. The title drops: Journey to Ixtlan. Nothing further, just the title. I assume this is Castaneda. And it is. Curious.

Okay, I’m game. Wondering at the significance of that specific selection, I expected to find the title in my small collection of Castaneda books. When I realized that book was missing, I asked, “Why I am supposed to read that book?”

The response. “Read the first page. You’ll know.” The first page.

Locating the book at the half-price book store, I open it up to see if I have found the right book and what the first page might reveal. No doubt. It’s the right book.

This is the first page.

Of the few Castaneda books in my collection, I’ve read some – skimmed most.

I wasn’t a fan of Castaneda until I grabbed a new book (at the time) to show my husband, who liked Castaneda, the latest release. As he was still looking at other books, I opened the book to check it out (Magical Passes).

When I opened to the page that explicitly described a metaphysical encounter that I had just experienced, I gained a new appreciation for Castaneda’s work. Maybe he did have something to say to me.

Delving deeper into his background, I became aware of the critics and the controversy. It didn’t change the fact that something he described actually happened in my personal experience of reality.

Only recently did I realize the source of my initial disinterest in Castaneda’s writing. It was exactly as he outlines in the introduction to Journey to Ixtlan.

Referring to the focus of his first two books on the use of *psychotropics [previously mentioned mushroom link], he says his world, through the effects of psychotropics:

“…had been so bizarre and impressive that I was forced to assume such states were the only avenue to communicating and learning what don Juan was attempting to teach me.

That assumption was erroneous.”

The drugs are not the focus in Journey to Ixtlan.

My personal experience of incredible events without any mind altering substance made his information less interesting. However, it seems there is a shift in his perspective for book number three.

As the guides have prompted me to explore a new view, I will make time out now for some Castaneda insight.

With the horse vision and the eclipse read on the back burner – I do have one thing to note. There really is an energy shift with an eclipse. When you make time to sense it, the moment reveals itself.

Unfortunately, I know I will forget this wonderful experience at some point – so – I write to remember at such a time that it will be most helpful on my journey. I hope some of this is also helpful to you!

“Seek and see all the marvels around you. You will get tired of looking at yourself alone, and that fatigue will make you deaf and blind to everything else. – Carlos Castaneda, The Teachings of Don Juan: A Yaqui Way of Knowledge, Amazon

Entertainment: Thelma's Revenge, PSI Highlights, The Hum, and Meg Hansen Interview

“Old age ain’t no place for sissies” – Bette Davis

It may take a decade – or several – but when you eventually realize the ladder of success has a flip top – you can hop off and have a whole lot more fun exploring the spooky fringe.

'Thelma' strikes back

Things no one tells you about getting older: They’re still not telling.

According to my mom: NO ONE ANSWERS the OVER 60 Free Legal Help for Seniors Hotline. It is a perpetual time suck that sends you from one recorded line to the next. She called (severely overheated) to inform me of that travesty shortly before I was due at my health appointment [perfectly timed for my blood pressure update].

After a few quick questions and a google search, I redirected her to the main/online page/website for that department and left for my appointment.

She cooled down, found the site, filled out a form and has been advised that she is on a list and someone will call in 3 to 5 days. The clock is ticking… along with the fuse. [3 to 5 days turned into weeks.]

This is why I prefer dealing with the endless parade of non-physical, unexplained enigmas [ETs, Ghosts, Fairies, Sasquatch, etc.], and all things liberated from the inane, bureaucratic fixated wormhole commonly referred to as ‘reality’…

For Mom - and all elders trying to adjust to an increasingly fickle social landscape - 'Thelma' is based on the real-life experience of writer-director Josh Margolin's grandmother: Trailer Link.

In the film, the 93-year-old Thelma (June Squibb) gets duped by a phone scammer pretending to be her grandson, then sets out on a treacherous quest across the city to reclaim what was taken from her.

The film world premiered to critical acclaim at Sundance, where Magnolia landed rights in a competitive situation. Details. Source. June 2024 release date.

In the comments: “I lived in Taos for many years, and I have personally heard the hum. For me, the sound is louder on the other side of town toward the mountains, and not out by Two Peaks and the Gorge Bridge. I talked to an old-time local about it, and he told me there is a “hollow” mountain in Taos Canyon, containing a secret military installation. This is consistent with another incident that happened to me in the canyon, so this is plausible. Also.. For a brief time during a return to Taos, I lived in the same hotel you stayed at for about 6 months. It looks like the place has experienced a major renovation since then, haha. Great video!”

Evolving PSI: science, curiosity, wonder – connecting NHI dots – Breaking the silence

It’s time. The truth is incredible.

Extraordinary events are unfolding – as we reach another tipping point in the evolution of consciousness. Awareness of Non-human intelligence, extra dimensions, and alternate timelines has dawned. All the players – knowing and not – living, deceased, corporeal, non-corporeal, and all points between and beyond any preconceived category are engaged in a fantastical scene of awakening.

Intuition and insight

My nightlights have been wonderful wayshowers, helping me to collect and connect my dots long enough to realize – evolution is change eternal.

Conflict embedded within a framework.
Patterns untold.
Seeded in fabric.
Miracles bridge every fold.

Sparks on the fringe.
Outline destiny.

The resulting tapestry
a wonder to behold.

The nightlights.

We exist in totality at a level beyond the mind’s fathom. On purpose. We are more. Mystery is the carrot. All is one. Ocean in being.

Imagine, to the utmost best of your ability, a world far greater, more delightful, beyond beautiful, awe inspiring, and magical than any yet envisioned. When you do – that vision – becomes a clear and present future. Hold focus. Inhale.

Embody it.

Breaking the Silence

Since early childhood, Steve knew he was having experiences with entities he could not explain...” – But Something is There, Steve Neill, Amazon sponsored link.

Alien abduction – or something more. A global phenomenon affects people from all walks of life; all ages, genders, ethnicities. No definitive answers, only questions. UFOs may not be what they seem. Steve’s channel Breaking the Silence [BTS] explores/presents the enigma and the questions.

I spoke with Steve about his show and what he hopes he can achieve by offering a safe space for experiencers to share their stories.

Weekly shows – Livestream – Friday night. Experiencer Account – Saturday night.

About the show: Breaking the Silence with Steve Neill is a monthly show about encounters with the unknown: UAPs, UFOs, and NHI/non-human intelligence. Unlike similar shows, this show will interview and reenact the testimonies of real people that have the strength to come forward and break the silence and their fear of being stigmatized.

Bio: Steve Neill is an artist, visual effects creator, and filmmaker with over 40 years of experience in the film and television industry. Credits include “Star Trek the Motion Picture,” “Ghost Busters,” “Fright Night” and more. He has appeared as a creature suit actor in many films, commercials and TV shows.

Steve’s art blog features a mask re-creation of the ‘Galaxy Being‘ from The Outer Limits episode linked in this post. My favorite item {and I am biased}, his collectible Spock Ears. Fun! He also includes videos demonstrating the creative process. Steve’s Art Blog.

The character/image that Leonard Nimoy embodied speaks volumes without words.

Star Trek’ was an attempt to say humanity will reach maturity and wisdom on the day that it begins not just to tolerate but take a special delight in differences in ideas and differences in lifeforms. – Gene Roddenberry

“Certain episodes were dictated by whatever costumes could be dredged up on the Paramount lot, meaning the Enterprise took detours to planets inspired by everything from the Old West to Nazi Germany. The fact that most of these metaphorically lemon-like diversions didn’t go sour is a testament to the lemonade-making abilities of Roddenberry and his staff.”

Simply brilliant. Gene Roddenberry.

Steve is also an experiencer, author of the book [and the film of the same name]: Something is ThereAmazon.

Amazon review: Interesting account of the abduction mystery “I liked his honest account and thoughts on his experiences. His final statement summing up his personal journey was remarkable because it really makes you examine your own beliefs and assumptions on the subject.”

In Steve’s film, the character’s name is Mark. The experiences are Steve's.

YouTube - Comment: "
When I came out everyone said I was crazy , when the government confirmed the existence of these beings , nobody said a word , more so ignored the fact that what I experienced was real even after all the video proof I had of it all . They tried to say I was crazy and put me under medication and this channel has given me hope to keep fighting for what I know I experienced, and that I’m no longer alone or crazy."

Monopoly Man

Here we go – down the Mandala Effect rabbit hole. Monopoly man: with/without monocle? Steve and I (and my husband Andy) remember him wearing a monocle.

The Mandela Effect”: a phenomenon where a large group of people share a false memory of an event or misremember a significant event.

The term was coined in 2009 by Fiona Broome after she discovered that many people believed Nelson Mandela died in the 1980s, when he actually died in 2013.” – Medical News Today.

Verdict: Monopoly Man did not wear a monocle. (Maybe we inhabit different mind spaces.)

“Neuroscientist Wilma Bainbridge, assistant professor in the University of Chicago’s department of psychology, and coauthor Deepasri Prasad, conducted a rare study published by the journal Psychological Science in late 2022 on the Mandela Effect in which they first confirmed that people have confident, but incorrect, visual memories of famous icons or characters.”- CNN.

This too shall pass

Fascinating aside. Roger Ebert’s final words in 2013, according to his wife Chaz.

“But the day before he passed away, he wrote me a note: “This is all an elaborate hoax.” I asked him, “What’s a hoax?” And he was talking about this world, this place. He said it was all an illusion. I thought he was just confused. But he was not confused. He wasn’t visiting heaven, not the way we think of heaven. He described it as a vastness that you can’t even imagine. It was a place where the past, present, and future were happening all at once.”
