Paul Davids, 7/16/16 - Evidence of the Afterlife

"Of course you don't die. Nobody dies. Death doesn't exist. You only reach a new level of vision, a new realm of consciousness, a new unknown world." - Henry Miller

OddsnEnds -

An Atheist in Heaven is a fabulous compilation of personal experiences and related scientifically corroborated encounters that continue to validate author Paul Davids' account of being in direct contact with the deceased Forrest J. Ackerman as related in the film The Life After Death Project (2013).

Davids' other films include Marilyn Monroe Declassified (2016), Jesus in India (2007),  The Sci-Fi Boys (2006), and Roswell (1994).

Adding a scientific perspective to this project is Co-Author, Dr. Gary Schwartz, PhD from Harvard, tenured Professor at Yale and Professor of Psychology, Medicine, Neurology, Psychiatry and Surgery at the University of Arizona.

As for the extensive background on Forrest J. Ackerman: Magazine editor, science fiction writer, literary agent, actor, check the Wiki bio: Read

To set the tone and see Forry in action, tag along on a tour of the Ackermansion: Here

In providing additional documentation and supplemental content to the earlier film, Davids delivers an extensive and detailed list of ongoing encounters and phenomena to demonstrate just how active his connection remains with a man who really didn't buy into the afterlife thing.

However, it should be noted that Forrest Ackerman did say if he found evidence to counter his disbelief in the existence of an afterlife he would be sure to drop someone a line. With the evidence continuing to build, he has clearly hit his stride in keeping the lines flowing.

Wendy's Coffeehouse Interview/Podcast with Paul Davids: Link. As Paul works to try and corroborate the evidence and connect the dots, you'll discover Forry is a wonderfully colorful afterlife messenger.

Paul also mentions another interview we did when a cameo of sorts happened during a break at the half hour. The exact words: "Come to the Forest/Forrest..." Listen to the show.

The un-dead Forry is definitely entertaining. He keeps you wanting more. (Smile.)

Thank you for listening!
Stay Curious.

7/9/16 - Weapons of the Gods - Headlines and show overview

"Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it." - George Santayana

Headlines -

Out stunning Tatooine and completely unexpected, a new planet rotating THREE suns is the Science revelation of the week. 320 light years from Earth. Each season lasts longer than a human lifetime. Scientists now revising their view of what might be possible in the solar system. CNN

Weapons of the Gods - Author Nick Redfern on KCMO Wendy's Coffeehouse podcast

Viral Vid of the week  - the guy in the car with his kids who posted about the ghost swing -- now deleted -- but the follow up is still working. Follow-up: After being seriously mocked, follow up post - is here. Wait for it -- the GHOST ... Boo!

Weapons of the Gods is (almost) the latest book from prolific Fortean Author Nick Redfern and he delivers a host of new clues that suggest we have plenty of unsolved mysteries hidden in our timeline.

Jumping into the search for connecting dots with the topic of Death Rays (Wiki) it might be that the ancient language creates one obvious barrier. Tesla comes up when I suggest he might have been an Alien and Nick says it wasn't that kind of Alien being referenced. Interesting stuff on the father of the atomic bomb, Dr. Robert Oppenheimer, and a cryptic comment he made suggesting the atom bomb the US discharged might not have been the first in the history of our planet.

Other questions include the origin of extremely radioactive skeletons and an anomaly turning up in unexpected locales: Trinitite, the glassy stone created by atomic detonation.

What we didn't cover on air and gives a twist to the ET question is the chapter on Cryptoterrestrials, suggested to have experienced and escaped apocalyptic conditions that drove them deep underground. The theory is that these beings are so much like us they can easily mix without detection among the surface dwellers and might have a vested interest in planting information motivating surface Earth dwellers to save the planet. Chapter 19, page 177, Reference: Video of Mac Tonnies discussing his theory (filmed in Kansas City)

Nick's even newer book, Women in Black  was released July 1st.

When I asked him what he thought about the latest Nessie sighting, he revealed yet another upcoming release, a book on the Loch Ness subject due out in October, 2016. Prolific. And fascinating.

An award-winning physicist and a psycho-neuro-immunologist, he was confined to a wheelchair with multiple sclerosis in 1994. Undeterred by naysayers, Gary journeyed to Australia to stay with an Aboriginal tribe. The result: miraculous healing.

Tom Carey and Children of Roswell - 6/11/16 - 'Mystery Metal' cameo

Top Headline this week -- The Greatest in every aspect, Muhammad Ali was also an avid UFO fan.

The boxing legend says he saw several UFOs, including a mothership. According to Author Timothy Green Beckley, Muhammad Ali said of UFOs: "...they've been watching me for some time now."

Ali even provided a sketch for the book: Shirley MacLaine Meets The Pleiadians: Plus - The Amazing Flying Saucer Experiences Of Celebrities, Rock Stars And The Rich And Famous

Beckley says there was so much material in regard to Ali that he gave him an entire chapter.
Read more in this Blog post from the Author.

As an *Ali fan, who can also cite an encounter or two, he shines an inextinguishable beacon encouraging those who have encountered the UN-explainable to know: We are in good company and growing in numbers are those willing to talk about it. Earmarked for the UFO Treasure Chest.

Follow Tim Beckley on his webcast. Or connect on his website.

My guest, Author Tom Carey has been on this case since 1991. The Roswell legacy. Beyond those who were personally involved in the event, families and close associates were also caught up in the aftermath. In some cases, the impact experienced from negative backlash lasted for decades: The Children of Roswell.

Re our Podcast tech issues with the phone line. Apparently the result of a coffee spill on the console (note irony). Once the phone link is established we're off and running.

"Memory Metal," an incredible substance that has a track record of sticky consequences for many of those known to have had contact or knowledge about it. Carey says scientists trying to back engineer a reasonable facsimile have had no success. The extraordinary properties are such that - to date - no substance exists that can produce identical results.

Author Tom Carey had just been contacted by a NEW witness who realized (while reading his book) she also saw a demonstration of the incredible "Memory Metal" and this is the first time he has shared that info. Expect more details in his upcoming book: Roswell: the Verdict of History.

Float Therapy - a refreshing "time out"

"Presumably there are energies, to which each human is sensitive, that we cannot yet detect by means of our instruments. Built into our brains and our bodies are very sensitive tuneable receivers for energies that we do not yet know about in our science but that each one of us can detect under the proper circumstances and the proper state of mind. We can tune our nervous systems and bodies to receive these energies. We can also tune our brains and bodies to transmit these energies." - John C. Lilly

Meditation has been hijacking the headlines as the top go-to for stress relief and I agree that meditation is helpful for unwinding the mind. However, in addition to quieting the mind, if there are pain issues such as muscle fatigue or sports injuries, you might consider another option: Float Therapy.

Isolation Therapy (REST, Restricted Environmental Stimulation Therapy) is experiencing a resurgence in popularity. With improved technology and upgraded equipment, the current providers are offering even more in terms of environmental aesthetics.

What a nice surprise to find a local venue! Here's my interview with Blake Swetnam of Floating KC.

First things first - if you are into this activity - you are called a Waver not a Floater. Smile. However, I broke that code in my first post just for grins. Yes, I am that easily entertained. As such, how fun to find this Float Intro on the Floating KC blog.

Entertaining for novices and experienced Wavers, this is an excellent (humorous) intro of what to expect from your first float.Tag along with Rhett and Link

Video is their introduction -- review and backstory on the adventure is after the video.

Curious? Try it.

Then compare your notes with Rhett and Link. Here's their assessment and review of the actual experience.

They do address the potential fear of claustrophobia but that element is a non-issue
with Floating KC because the set up is a room rather than a tank (Zero Gravity Float Room).

* Additional Info -- Stuff and Misc *

Floating Therapy -- another perspective -- In her story: "... an analysis in 1997 of well over 1,000 descriptions of sensory deprivation indicated that more than 90% of subjects found it deeply relaxing..."

The Floating Experience -- Sensory Deprivation upgrade ... REST
