• Haunts in KC region. The Saint George Hotel. Trip Advisor Review. Ghosts.Recommendation while Dining with Ghosts in Weston, Missouri for The Belvoir Winery, Liberty, Missouri. We were told the place had a creepy feeling and we should definitely go check it out. No mention of ghosts. So I pulled up a recent news feature. Belvoir Winery: "Visitors do report hearing footsteps and voices." And [as has happened at one of the Weston B&Bs] "some guests have checked out in the middle of their stay because they are too scared to finish the night." Source. KCTV5 Feature.
  Stull, Kansas Cemetery popped up in Google search as one of the top haunted sites in the state. Spoiler. That honor is due to a fictional 'portal to Hell' rumor [Stull background on how the rumor started.] none have managed to corroborate. Beth Kornegay works with Ghost Tours of Kansas on a tour of the Pioneer Cemetery in Lawrence where she used divining rods to speak with spirits. KCTV5 Feature.

Drawings provided by the children. Their experiences after a NDE include contact with the deceased and the unborn. Parents of the children were also interviewed. Results show huge differences in how children and adults were affected by a NDE. And those differences are fascinating.

For your consideration: Even if you don't put too much stock in Halloween other than a play day for kids (and adults) to dress up and collect treats, should you find yourself tempted to join in the company of more serious others offering party games with a Ouija board and sharing special holiday drinks, do note the world is full of interesting and unusual others who are checking to see who is and isn't paying attention.

Caution. Reconsider the unspoken Ouija challenge and maybe, even more importantly, don't drink check out with strangers. Combined forces of the shifting of the season and collective thought form energy of so many who are playing consciously and unconsciously for various (and some not too happy counterproductive) intentions creates an interesting energy *highball.

All things are possible and weird things do happen on the day before All Saint's Day. For some, those Saints can't arrive soon enough. (Midnight.)
