Paula Lenz - Shared Death Experience - a Completely Unexpected Insight with her Brother's Death

“If you really want to communicate something, even if it’s just an emotion or an attitude, let alone an idea, the least effective and least enjoyable way is directly. It only goes in about an inch. But if you can get people to the point where they have to think a moment what it is you’re getting at, and then discover it, the thrill of discovery goes right through the heart.” - Stanley Kubrick, Goodreads

When it comes to a Mars mission, it’s “the crew who is the weakest link,” she admits. To date, there has never been a behavioral emergency – a behavioral or psychiatric condition leading to incapacitation or severe mission impact, as NASA defines it - in the history of US space flight. But as a 2016 NASA report notes, “as the length of space missions increases, the probability … increases.”

"Three days after her brother's funeral, Paula had an out-of-body experience with his spirit while she was driving. The result was a visit to "infinity" and a change in her consciousness."

One of the unique aspects that we don't often hear associated with the loss of a loved one is the Shared Death Experience. Paula's story is helpful in expanding the knowledge about death from a spiritual perspective that includes Precognition, Telepathy, OBE, NDE, STE and ADC - Afterlife communication. All of those events are possible when we lose a person who has been a spiritually significant presence in our life.

Worried about job security and fear that people would question her mental health, Paula waited more than three decades to talk about her experience. Not only was the response positive, she was asked to share the story with a larger audience.

Stories like these contribute to a greater awareness of all that might be possible in the dying/transition process. Reassurance is offered to others who are not able to go public with their story and an additional benefit is the preemptive comfort to others who may yet have a similar encounter.

Reality is greater than the sum of the physical parts.

For anyone dealing with grief and loss due to the death of a loved one, Paula's story is especially helpful.

Recommendation by Dr. Kenneth Ring:

“Paula Lenz’s book shows how the deepest grief can unlock the greatest spiritual treasures. The story of how the death of her beloved brother Don also provided her — and us — with inconvertible evidence of life after death should convince any skeptic that we live after we die. Driving into Infinity will take you on a riveting journey of self-discovery.” - Kenneth Ring, Ph.D., Author of Lessons from the Light

For Paula, contact continues with her deceased brother. A certain picture frame is a consistent object of focus. Movement usually demonstrates interaction and indicates a connection with subsequent events.

Paula also has residual after effects from her shared death encounter, much like the effects reported by near death experiencers. *I have added links for that info.

Paula became more aware of contact with her Spirit Guides. She began to see Auras, experienced SLI [street light interference] and increased Telepathic awareness.

In trying to manage her grief, Paula learned how to expand her awareness and step outside of the pain.

She developed a simple practice to assist her that is easily adapted for everyday use.

Paula calls it "Meld Into Spirit" and explains the process in her book. She also refers to it in the video presentation and is developing a class to share her technique.

No coincidence here. Given her 40 year background as a teacher with additional life experience in business management, she is more than qualified to step out on this next leg of the journey as an instructor and presenter.

I find it incredibly fascinating how we manage to prepare ourselves with absolutely no conscious awareness or intention and end up exactly where we are the most qualified and needed. Paula's brother Donnie gave her a lot of information during that after death overview but said he couldn't tell her the part about writing a book - because she wouldn't have believed it.

Dining with Ghosts in Weston, Missouri.

The view when the Missouri River port
was at the bottom of Main Street in Weston, Missouri.

The view!

First time - after 9 or so years of coming to this event - we could see the Missouri River from the top of the hill on Main Street.

Flooding earlier in the year and a recent levee failure have given views that are a reminder [almost] of what it used to look like before the channel changed in 1881. KC Star.

At one time, the Missouri River was at the bottom of the hill where Jeff's Architectural Salvage and Weston Burley House are now located.

Timing this year also offered a chance to see the Orionids. While on the ghost walk, standing outside The Hatchery and listening to the background, a spectacular meteor flashed across the sky.

There are some changes this year. A few new sites have been added and some of the regular stops are off the tour - but still mentioned. Stories include a few recent events.

Ghost Walk highlights: Haunted Nicolette.

Ice Maiden. Nicolette is
a haunted statue.
[sold to private owner]

At one time she had a companion male statue.

No longer given a window space - because of her track record.
(And the front windows have recently been replaced.)

The first time Nicolette had a window space, the window fogged with condensation on the glass. Thinking there must be another explanation, she got a second chance in that window space.

They opened the shop the next day, she and the window were covered in a thin coating of ice.

Since windows are not her thing, we peered at her through the door as she stood in her temporary - middle of the floor - spot.

Friday night [10/18] Ghost Walk Anomaly. Weather for the evening was warm and dry. Temps stayed in the 60's. No fog or mist. Note the green tint in the second image. The first image was taken the following night to see if there was a similar effect.

After studying the images, it would seem the bright white lantern threw the camera lighting off. Best unintended special effect of the night - underscoring the eerie feeling in the space.

This image was taken the following night for comparison.
No green. Still spooky.

True Ghost story and a bit of Weston History: A long time resident of one of the historic homes shared her story at the dinner. She said she almost moved out at first. Having just had a new baby, she was with the child in an upstairs bedroom working (Seamstress) when a woman dressed in period clothing appeared - standing in the doorway - looking directly at her. The woman was holding a baby and smiling at her. Then she vanished.

Scared to death, the woman said she grabbed her child, ran downstairs and called her husband telling him they had to move out immediately because the house was haunted.

Her husband asked if the ghost had tried to harm her. She said it hadn't and, because of the smile, it actually seemed that the ghost might be friendly and meant no harm. Two days later, a Realtor showed up with the missing abstract for the home, leather bound and about 5 inches thick.

Included in that abstract is the story of the young woman and history of the other residents of the home. The smiling young woman had died in childbirth along with her baby.
